This opening par 5 requires a
well-placed drive down the right side
of the fairway. The hole is lined
along the left side with pine trees
and bunkers, leaving the golfer with
an uphill approach to a large green
guarded by bunkers on the right and
surrounded by palm trees.

The second hole plays slightly
uphill with a carry over water off
the tee and a native sand area that
meanders up to the green. As a
short hole this par 3 has a small
undulating green that is elevated
but is not unprotected as the slopes
are steep rough and a good putt is required for birdie.

The tee shot on the par 4 third is to a
fairway sloping to the right, making
a level stance difficult due to a pine
grove. The far right side of the fairway
offers safety and a level lie. But be
careful not to find yourself screened
by the protruding pine trees. From
the right side of the fairway, a well
struck mid-iron will be received by a forgiving green.

Hole number four is a downhill
medium-length par 3. With water
to the right, bunkers short and left
of the green, and plenty of bail
areas, this hole looks harder than it plays.

The fifth hole is a par 4 with a
carry over water. The left side of
the fairway and green are well
protected by bunkers. Playing to an
elevated green, the more water that is
challenged, the easier the approach shot will become.

The tee shot for the long par 4 sixth
is very inviting. However, with a
long iron shot into a green that is
protected on the left by water and a
deep grass bunker and on the right by
bunkers and pine trees. This hole is by no means a “gimme”.

Hole number seven is a very
intimidating par 4 off the tee with
pines and a large bunker guarding
the left and water the length of
the hole on the right which leaves
a small landing area with a driver.
With a bunker left and short of the
green, water right, and palm trees
beyond, two good shots are required to keep out of trouble on this hole.

Hole ten is a medium length par
5 with a force carry over a marsh
area with bunkers left of the landing
area. With water right and a bunker
short of the green, a shot from the
left side of the fairway provides the
best chance to get home in two.
The green is large but receptive, giving a chance for a sub-par score.

The par 3 eleventh hole is the
shortes hole on the course
with water short and right of
the green. An accurate tee shot on
this hole is imperative for a
chance at birdie due to the large, stepped green.

Thirteen’s tee shot requires a carry
over the marsh and avoidance of
the preserve areas on both the right
and left of the landing area. This
could be the toughest tee shot on
the course. This par 5 has two
options for the second shot. Playing
to the right has more forgiveness,
but requires a demanding shot over a
cluster of bunkers onto the elevated
green. A second shot to the left side
of the fairway avoids the carry over
the bunkers, however it has a smaller landing area.

Depending on the courage of the
golfer, the par 4 fifteenth can be
reached from the tee. With water on
the left side and a bunker short of the
green, this hole can make or break a good round of golf.

The uphill par 4 sixteenth, has
bunkers on the right, and plenty of
bail room on the left. The far left
tee shot will bring more hazards
into play. The green is protected
on the left by bunkers, yet the
reception of the green provides a good opportunity for a birdie.

As the longest par 4 on the golf
course, the eighteenth is very
difficult. Water lines the right side
of this hole, with bunkers left of
the landing area. The green is large
but guarded well by bunkers left and
short, and water to the right. Two
good shots are needed on this hole to walk away with a par.
